paris was great!
here's a couple of pics taken with my phone camera.. lousy quality, but still a lovely memory!

 i've been to Paris 10 times now, and i only visited the Eiffel Tower once.. so it was time i went there again! and here she is, La Vieille Dame: La Tour Eiffel!  avoiding the huge queues for the elevators, we went up WALKING to the 2nd floor. this is the view from the 1st floor! the tall building in the distance is the national library of France.  this is the view from the 2nd floor, looking up!  view from the top of the Eiffel Tower. you can see the river Seine and the modern business area of Paris: La Defense.  shadow of the Eiffel Tower, with the Sacre-Coeur in the distance. i love paris! |
