Be anxious for nothing...
It's a good word...something I usually adhere to.
My grandfather had a stroke about a week and a half ago. Well, I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go see him. My mom keeps trying to prepare us, but she's so nervous herself. His left side went out, and he's got something neurologically wrong because he's had hiccups ever since. I think I'm actually a little scared. He's in his later sixties, early seventies and although he's the most stubborn s.o.b. you ever met in your whole life...I dunno. I'm just nervous is all. So if you all could pray for me, and for my grandpa, we'd really appreciate it. I'll be gone until Wednesday, in Branson, Mo. Talk to you then.

Well, I was true about Grandpa Charlie being a stubborn s.o.b. He's tried a few stunts that he's been getting warned for. He wants to do everything by himself, so he's tried to get back in his bed twice, and fell both times. He hasn't hurt anything else, but darnit if I didn't give him a talking to about it.
Then he asked me how I got so high and mighty...I told him I got it from him. He just smiled really big and started laughing at me. I love that man. His nurse is this five foot little lady who recently lost two hundred pounds...she can lift him by herself, and he's about 6'2, 6'4 a good 250 himself...he's very impressed. He's still himself, just without all the mobility. He looks good, his sight and hearing in his left eye and ear are coming back and he's got good use of his arm and leg...but he's not completely ready to walk yet. My mom is still really scared. I'm just at the nervous point now. He gave me the "Why aren't you married yet?" spcheel. I nearly knocked him off his chair...until I realized if it were God's plan for me to get married, I don't know he'd be there...then I litterally thought about knocking him off his block. Yarr. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...
