Site is acting weird. I post once, and it shows up four times? Then there is the time thing.....Hmmm. Is the world coming to an end? Someone is messing with my fragile mind.

the board seems to be very slow today, all i can say is click the post button just once, and then be patient!

Nah, I had a similar experience. I tried posting once, and it came up nine times. Some aspect of the server must be acting up, so that to make up for not being able to post when you want to, it logs the data of all your attempts and puts it all up online when it starts working again. I dunno… I’ll bet ze knows all about it.

It's freaky.......the servers are lagging really badly I think cos it's taking AGES (nearly 5 minutes sometimes) for my posts to go through & I'm on DSL

Once you hit the submit button don't hit it again no matter what & your posts won't 'breed' anymore LOL

If you get multiples and want to delete them do the following:

Go to the offending, multiple, or impertinent post, and click on the "edit" button.

At the very top, there will be a check box that says "Delete? To delete this post, check the box to the left and then click the button to the right"

Do what that thing says, and you'll have gotten rid of the post.

Such a huge time commitment to comment, it has been taking forever for posts to go thru...and then there is a fear component to posting as well...will the ghost in the machine duplicate it.
Will I look like a newby???

Hmm...be kind to the machine perhaps? I'll take care of the dupliation for the machine and it may post the reply a bit faster in appreciation...worth a try anyhow.

the site has been experiencing unusually high traffic (>20,000 visitors a day) for the last month or so...that may be the problem
