Stuff you watch, or read, that you know is crap

O.K. so what are your guilty pleasures? You know it is crap, but just can't pull yourself away from it.

I'll go first. I like reality tv. I watch it all when I have the time. One of the most stupid shows I watch is called "Viva La Bam" on MTV. I also liked Survivor, Cupid, Paradise Hotel, The Bachelor. I am cringing.....

I can't get enough of the OC. I know its a bunch of crap and the portrayal of the pretentious Newport socialites and the down and dirty Chino boy is over-played, but I really know people like that from those areas. I have been quoted in the past saying "I hate the people from the OC (especially from Newport) with there "new" money and super snobby attitudes." This just gives me more reasons to hate them. Every time I travel through Newport and I see two cop cars pulling over a beat up pickup truck with some Latinos inside or somebody who obviously doesn't live in the area and watch as Mercedes after Mercedes after Mercedes goes flying by without regard to no one but there own self centered life, I just want to puke. All the people in Chino who are upset about the fact that the show is making Chino look bad is really missing the point. All normal everyday blue collar people around the world are raising the fist with a outburst of "hell yes" every time that Chino boy throws a bunch at that preppy ass who deserves it.

A fantasy series (not sci-fi, it would have to have spaceships and junk). It could be good, but it's 10 books (and counting) and the pace is absolutely glacial.

There I said it. It's been like a big heavy dark secret I've been carrying around.

I feel so free now.

according to a friend of mine the distinction between Sci-Fi and fantasy is that there are no dragons in Sci-fi, if it has dragons it is fantasy. opinions?

There aren't any physical dragons in the Wheel of Time, but they sure are mentioned all over the place.
