I have started to date someone that is a few years younger than me...He is 24, and I am like, well, almost 36. I absolutely adore him, but feel like a dirty old lady.

What do you all think about dating someone that is vastly different in age from yourself?

I think it depends on the ages of the partners. My ex husb of ten years is 13yrs older than me, the age difference wasn't the problem at all.... his 'personality' was hehee.

If the younger of the pair is mature enough, then I don't think it's an issue. My older sister (she's 50) dates younger men almost exclusively. He experience is that men her age are sticks in the mud, inactive, etc. She's having a blast!

If I may,

I think there’s an unfair bias towards women dating younger men, if it where reversed (36yo male dating a 24yo female) all you male friends would be going "Way to Go".

I’d agree with malina it’s not about age but attitude.

But, as it happens, I was taught a lot by my first dose of adultery, when just a mere strip of a lad at 18....the beautiful and eager 40 yr old who would feed me, fvck me and drive me home before the old man showed up is often remembered...*sigh*
