Thank you, but I'd rather have this.
*ignores the horns* ![]() (Actually, I'm an Atheist... but I've always found Theology bloody fascinating. And yes, the Bible's quite a good read )

Dare I say "ack" to all of this?
I quite enjoy the Bible...I've read the entire thing about three times. (Once through when my folks were teaching me to read, once through on my own in high school, and once through when I was taking Old Testiment and New Testament studies in seminary). I'm going through it again as a matter of fact. It's not all I read...I'd actually like to get my hands on a copy of that Satanic Bible. I'm sure some of my kids would benefit from a little bit of shake-up. It would really test their faith. Oooo... The book on vaginal fisting though...I dunno about that one. That'd be a bit of a hot potato with the parents, I'm sure. *shudders*

Wow... I'm very impressed, I dont think I could ever read the bible all the way through once, nevermind three times! Even though I'm a Christian I admit some of it is v.boring!! Plus I hate reading anyway, I blame my poor education.... or maybe I just didnt try hard enough
Well done you have made me feel considerably guilty! ![]() |

Left Behind
Now this series of books will have anyone enthralled, even athiests! Has sold millions of copies worldwide.
www.leftbehind.com A story based on what Christians believe will happen at the end of the world... with the antichrist and everything! Gripping action from start to finish, and a very interesting read. |

Sadly, I am no fan of the Left Behind series, and the only reason I saw the movie was because of Kirk Cameron.

As far as these sort of books go, I say nothing beats "Good Omens"

Good Omens! I've bought four or five copies of that book in my lifetime... because people keep "borrowing" it.
Funnily enough I also once owned a bible, but someone stole it. The irony! |

Maybe that's part of the universe's grand design... that you are not able to own your own copy of "Good Omens."

I recently made a film in which I had to do some Old Testament related research.
In my on-line travels I came across this: http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/ very interesting |
