so this is how i found her this morning, my sweet Strawberry:

her left window shattered:

her right door lock violently probed with an obscure object:

the cheap ass radio half pulled out:

and my sunglasses were stolen from a place where nobody could´ve possibly seen them from outside my Strawberry by looking through the windows.

i spent half the morning talking to my insurance company. fortunately i only have to pay for 136 euros of damage, anything above that amount will be paid by the insurance company.

my beautiful Strawberry now has a plexi window (is that english?) and will get a window transplant tomorrow afternoon at 1.

boo hoo!

of course, nobody has seen anything. this is Amsterdam. poop.

Oh... you may want to keep an eye open for signs of PTSD in Strawberry it's quite common after violent crimes you know.

That totally sucks. In my small town, usually when the kids are off for some sort of spring break, or holiday, the little jerks decide to go through cars and steal stuff. I leave nothing in my car, and will leave it unlocked (So I can avoid broken windows and what not, you want what I got, come on in

One time, they opened my car door, threw all my crap on the lawn, and left the door ajar. My battery was dead the next day! Oh the youth, our future prisoners.

Sorry for you troubles.

aww, frieda, that sucks, I remember when my 'bumble bee' got broken into, twice! They took the pull out sterio, but not the cradle...God knows why....they also took a coil wire from the engine, which is a $3 part, but the car won't start without it....jerks!

My condolences for your car Frieda. My bat mobile has been broken into twice this year so I share your pain. They took my stereo even though I had removed the front panel (dorks).
Give me a ring if you need help beating up someone. I’m very good at smashing kneecaps. Or maybe you want to borrow my sharks with *friggin* laser beams on their heads?

I wish the police here would publish a report on how much crime actually happens, they try not to tell here, so people dont get upset and not come. Like Amity, where Jaws was terrorizing that fictional town, they didn't want to scare the tourists off so they were deciding not to tell anyone...Here they only publish foofy stuff, in the bad part of town, but I know damn well, some idiot rich guy took a swing at his wife in the good part of town also. Taint fair.

Of the stuff they do publish, tho, an amazing amount of women get arrested for beating on their husbands.....
