I could do the DAR thing too!!!
I got my toe stuck in the drain in the locker room in gym class in high school I found a bean we stuck in the mashed potatoes at camp the very next day, we were testing to see if they re-used the stuff, and then I got called bean for the rest of high school My best friend in College was fresh out of the Olympics with a gold and a bronze, she taught me alot about competiveness, sticktuitiveness and that I never never NEVER want to be famous. ( I just told her that!) NEVER. I must have impressed her by being her complete opposite. We still fascinate each other. We could sit at a table and make faces at each other and laugh for hours. That's one of the character traits I insisted on having with my husband. oops im boring myself again ttfn |

I collect funky nodders.
I have always wanted to sing like Aretha Franklin. Then I could yell at my kids in her voice (like when Aretha gets upset in the Blues Brothers movie and sings (Think About It) *AT* her husband). ![]() I have my DAR number and a Great, great, great….Grandfather (Clymer) was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. I love iridescent things. I held and talked to a dying fawn on the side of the highway once. My kids have relatives buried at Wounded Knee. I have a birthmark at the very top/inner part of my leg…have to know me REAL well to find it. ![]() I’ve only experienced the feeling of H-A-T-E once, with my ex-husband. I shoplifted when I was 14. ![]() I’m always late. You guys don’t know that but everyone else does! I like spontaneous sex. I was a couple DJ at a rock radio stations in Calif when I was in my 20’s. I’d like to be paid to sleep. I am a 'long winded' writer. Gee ya think? ![]()

So much, so soon
Well, I've only been a member here 3 days now, but I think it'd be OK for me to post a thing or two you don't know.
1) I have really big feet and my toes always look swollen, like a cartoon character who had his or her fingers slammed with a sledge hammer. 2) I’ve never left America. 3) I have a scar on the bridge of my nose. I was eight and jumping on my bed, than rammed into the ledge of a window. 4) I have red hair, but it’s not as red as it used to be. 5) I absolutely love polynesian pop and tiki music. 6) My favorite kids movie is Babe Pig in the City (Or maybe Pete’s Dragon). 7) I, myself, am 3 degrees from Kevin Bacon.

1. My great great grandfather was Speaker of the House for Iowa
2. My great great great (its 3 I think) was Margaret Mitchell, she was killed in an unfortunate car accident. 3. I have a circle of skin underneath one of my breasts that has no pigment and a freckle smack dab in the center of it. My mother used to tell me this is how she would identify my body if I was ever murdered and my head, feet and hands were cut off in the process. I don't have the heart to tell her that it has faded and all there is is a freckle now. 4. I can cure hiccups with my forhead, provided the hiccup-ee lets me use his/her forhead for 10 seconds. 5. I can cook/bake anything except for fried food. 6. My daily workout involves Kiegels 7. I have been known to sing entire Fleetwood Mac songs in my sleep.

1. I was invited to take the Mensa test three times. The average of the scores turned out to be two percentage points below the Mensa limit, so I was not eligible to join. This was when I was 14.
2. I have a penguin named after me in Antarctica. Not a whole breed, just one little penguin. 3. I spent one night climbing as many trees as I could in a city park in Auckland, looking for a two dollar coin. I had nothing to drink that night. I never found it. 4. I applied to clown/circus college after high school. 5. I was starting to work toward my pilot's license when I met a love of that life and started living out of a backpack six months later. That was five years ago. |

I am a member of the Fleetwood Mac fan club. I won tickets to a PBS taping in Boston, and flew out there from MI for a concert. There were only 1,000 of us in the audience. While my friend (a Bostonian) and I were waiting in line, we struck up a conversation with two guys in line in front of us. The casting director came by, and marked these guys. They continued to party with us, and asked us what we thought getting marked meant. We told them they were going to be right up front. They then put their arms around us when the casting director came by again, and asked her to mark us, because they wanted their wives to be with them for the show. She did, and we were all in the front row for the show. It was awesome. I got Lindsey Buckingham's autograph on a checking deposit slip (only thing I had with me for him to sign) On the deposit slip I wrote... To the love of my life then I made a line with an arrow pointing to it that said sign here. He read it, laughed, and signed it. I was so excited. He is so sexy. Oh well, sorry to go on and on, but I do love Fleetwood Mac. Oh, so when the show is broadcast on TV in March, you should be able to see me. Not sure how happy I am about that, but, oh well. We all had to sign releases. Thankfully, I kept my clothes on. Last edited by Klynne : 12-06-2003 at 07:55 PM. |

I am enjoying a fellow forum member at this very moment, mixed with milk. I think they call that a latte?
