Yee-haw & Boo-hoo
Hello everyone,
I'm Reader. I'm here benefit of a mutual friend (whose user name I'm not sure of) because she mentioned this site in passing months ago and I recently happened upon it and am TOTALLY CHARMED. You folks are so cool and great. I'd like to join in, may I? That's the yee-haw part. The boo-hoo part, (and I'm really not a whiner) is that I was laid off a couple months ago and can't find a job. My biggest hope was dashed tonight, so it's back to the drawing board, maybe the career change board. But not to dwell on yucky stuff. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving with family. I really, really hope I get back on Sunday evening (or maybe Monday) to messages from ya'll. I'll be joining in the conversations from here on out. And trying to figure out my friend's identity (Houston, is that a clue?). Everyone have a great holiday. So wonderful to meet you all. |

I have no clue who Reader is. There were a few people who used to post from Houston. Saskouch and JudyPatooty come to mind.
