Well, I hope everyone had a fabulous thanksgiving! Any horror stories?

Things were great up until I asked my dad if we could use his house for an engagment party/bbq for my lil brother and his fiancee. My dads girlfriend immediatly said 'NO, OUT OF THE QUESTION"

Shit hit the fan soon thereafter which resulted in a screaming chick fight. Then we had pumkin cheesecake and a glass of champagne.

I guess it is up to your Dad to make the decision...But, still, I agree with Beale, she is really not family. Why does she care anyway? Just because she is dating your Dad does not give her the right to be a stupid ass. Does she try to eliminate you and your brother out of your Dad's life in other ways? How long have they been together?

yeah, she was so pissed when I got engaged, she knew it would cost him money, she is pissed she isnt married, she is just a hateful person in general and couldnt even be nice on thanksgiving. They are moving to Virginia in september and he is going to give her a diamond ring for christmas

My mom ws getting married to somebody who we deemed evil, even tried to talk her out of it. She got all defensive, and of course told him everything we said. You can't pick your family, dammmmmit.

The other half of the story is that here it is like 4 years later, and he's tried really hard to get us to like him. I wish there was some incentive for her to have to like you, but sometimes men can be wimpy in that department. If they're moving away, there's not much you can do, 'cept do the thing at your house, ignore her and keep the good juju.

yeah, simaler story aud, basically the same...just a different realm...

Ok, so my older brother and I cruised around Julian ..basically east county that went up like a big chimney not to long ago...

It was sad....all the beautiful trees are gone! It snows up there, it's gonna look like a nuclear christmas when the snow comes...the drive used to be a long paved road, twists and turns every which way...lots of bad crashes...back in the day we rode motorcycles up there ..its awsome, but if you mess around, you could easily be dead.

Anyway..

driving on that road, was like driving through a forrest. The trees made a natural tunnel...for like an hour! It is such a killer drive!!!

or used to be anyway...

it was burnt to a crisp......

OH! But what I was going to tell you!!

so my bro and his fiancee were going to come over to my place tomorrow night to BBQ. I called the fiancee this morning and told her we would do it at my place. So that is the plan...

I drop my older bro off at my dad's house so he can pick up his car and cruise to my lil' bro's place, he's gonna crash over there tonight..they are going to a bar called "WONGS"

so about an hour after I get home...my dad calls, and says " Hey! your bro and his chick are coming over to BBQ tomorrow! I want you and hubby to come too!!"

So we are going over there tomorrow night! This will be interesting!!!!!

SOMETHING WENT DOWN!!!
