Should I tell the truth, or play along?

I got this random email...

hello!
i'm sorry this is being sent to lots of people but i'm
so bad at keeping in touch that i want to say hi to
all of you but haven't got a week to write individual
e-mails! i'm sorry!
i hope that you all had a nice Christmas and that you
have a great New Year!

Things are going well for me at the moment. i've been
with my boyfriend, phill, for 9 months. He's a really
nice guy, sometimes too nice - he took me to mallorca
for a week for my birthday and bought me a diamond
ring (i was a bit scared it was an engagement ring, he
promised it wasn't), i don't deserve him and am a
bitch to him far too often.
As for work, I'm juggling 4 jobs! Working 2 days a
week for Manchester Poetry Festival arranging a
national tour for a poet. The rest of the time i'm
working for my dad, just doing admin stuff at his
office - a pent house port-a-cabin on a JCB yard! oh
the glamour!
Another job is once a month doing the door at an
elctro nite called club suicide - very cool, popular
with the beutiful people - the pay is good and we get
pissed whilst working! The last job i'm starting in
the new year is for MCR:Music (manchester music),doing
music and distribution promotion, It'll be one day a
week but could lead to more.
I'm still acting at the contact theatre, just done a
project that i wrote myself which was really good, and
doing a workshop scheme for the technical side of
theatre too. I'm also doing bits of PR for a couple of
bands.
So i got quite alot to keep me busy!
I'm in the process of applying to go back to uni, but
i dont know if i really want to or need to go - the
jobs i have at the moment are good jobs and the poeple
i work with have already been to uni, i feel like i'm
going backwards. i'm applying in manchester and to
other cities too - mostly german with creative writing
or arty things. i'll decide when i see who accepts me.
I'm hoping to do a bit of traveling in 2004, want to
go to japan - have got 3 people i know out there all
teaching english so it's a good time to go. Also got a
trip to new york owed to me from my 21st birthday last
year so need to cash that in sometime soon!
