Best & Worst Cover Tunes (of All Time?)

In your opinion, what are the best & worst cover tunes? Here's my list so far:

:: drumroll::

Best:

Foo Fighters "Darling Nikki" (Prince); totally f**ing rocks... much better than the original
Type O Negative "Cinnamon Girl" (Neal Young)
Melissa Etheridge "Born To Run" (Bruce Springsteen)
Goo Goo Dolls "American Girl" (Tom Petty)
Marilyn Manson "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)" (Eurythmics)
Alien Ant Farm "Smooth Criminal" (M. Jackson)

So Bad It's Good:

William Shatner "Lucy In The Sky w/Diamonds" (Beatles); I first heard this on Dr. Demento, which should say it all

Worst:

Limp Bizkit "Behind Blue Eyes" (The Who); I love LB, but I'm not a fan of their version of this song
Destiny's Child "Emotion" (Bee Gees); gag
Britney Spears "I Love Rock & Roll" (Joan Jett); major f**ing gag
Anonymous (I don't know the woman's name) "Heaven" (Bryan Adams); not the best song, but it didn't deserve to be treated like that

What's on your list, fellow zemonkeys?

Waiting is,
LC

a bad cover: it's raining men by this anorexic former spice girl, originally by the weather girls

my standard rule is i hate all covers of all songs. however, lenny kravitz's version of 'american woman' kicks ass.

I'm with you Aud! But...

Pat Boone's attempt at cool:

Panama
Crazy Train
Stairway to Heaven (yes, you read that right)
Smoke on the Water
The Wind Cries Mary (yes, you read that right)
You've Got Another Thing Comin'
and much much more!

If you've never heard these, you MUST find them online, or...let me know - I've got them. They are HYSTERICAL!

Phyllis Diller - Satifaction (Can't get no)
Mae West - Day Tripper (yes, you read that right)
Leonard Nimoy - Proud Mary
Bing Crosby - Hey Jude (horrific!)
Telly Savalas - Lovin' Feeling
Yoko Ono - John John

I knew I'd forget these...

More of the Best:

LeAnn Rimes (Rymes?) "Walkin After Midnight" (Not sure who wrote the song, but as far as I know the 1st person to sing it was Patsy Cline, & LeAnn did a helluva job w/it)
Love Spit Love "How Soon Is Now?" (Morrisey?)

More of the Worst:
Mariah Carey "Bringing On The Heartbreak" (Def Leppard); this song made me want to hit my head against a brick wall
