Movie's you're not sure you want to see with the fuzzy edited blocks cut out...

I watched "Maurice" last night on the Bravo channel and I know I saw some chopped and repasted scenes...now, I realize those will likely have things in them I want to see, but at the same time, if I see them, I get the feeling I'll miss the fuzzy blocks gaurding my virgin eyes.

Damn that Hugh Grant!

Anyway, anyone else seen "Maurice"? Is it worth the desensitizing? (and yes, you're talking to someone who's never seen an adult penis that wasn't part of a medical diagram)

Just keep hanging around here, I'm sure you'll see one sooner or later (whether you like it or not!)

Edit to Add: I do NOT miss the fluzzy blocks.

Hehe. Maurice is a good film, if you like Merchant-Ivory. It's not that explicit, really. I'm constantly amazed by the prurience of US TV networks. Stanley Kubrick even had to make a special US version of Eyes Wide Shut with the naughty bits blocked out, even for cinemas...

It is my strict opinion that if a 16 year old can't handle catching his mother undressing on accident without scarring him for life, that a four year old should not be able to watch strangers cookies, tatas, or winkies on public access tv.

Wait, who is scarred for life by that? Pretty much just awkward from my point of view.

Now your grandmother on the other hand...

Here we organized it in a little different way: any film with strong erotic scenes or with lots of brutality (even "The Sopranos") is shown on t.v. after 9 p.m.
At the begining of every film (and after commercial breaks) you can see a small sign in the corner: "green circle" = for children, "yellow triangle"= to watch with parents and "red x" = adults only.
This way parents can dcide if they let their 15 years old to watch a movie or not...
Lol can't imagine most of my fauvorite films with "blocks"

What do they do with books??!!
