My beef about the laundry is simple: I am spoiled.
I like doing laundry only if it's not in a public machine. My mom's machine, I can set to handwash & have my delicates done in 20 minutes. I let them air dry. I can wash all the rest of my clothes on the temps it says to & not have to worry about plunking all those quarters in. The laundromat has changed all that. I now split it up--dark, white & light, and handwash. No more washing certain white shirts in cold water, I just don't throw them in the dryer.
