Drawings/Sketches
Glad we got this section up and running! I figured since we had a place for literary artists, we needed a forum for the visual artists as well.
Post, everyone, post! -st. Last edited by Deviate : 05-09-2004 at 01:09 AM. |

sunset painting
Here is a painting of mine. I had a canvas that I used up all of my old nearly empty tubes of paints on and scratchedd out these diagonal lines on. I couldn't figure what to do with it untill one small, blown-out surf session. The sun set was just so vibrant and the ocean was so torn up. I went to work and this is what came out.

Thanks
Surflugen, with his hands in his pocket, bashfully bows his head and kicks an imaginary rock and say "shucks, thank you".

that's pretty awesome.... sunsets on the ocean are the sizznit and a half.... esp when one's out there on the waves and you can't see the land, only water, sky, and the sun. i think you captured that perfectly. nice!!!

some more
I can not get my work to down load by attaching files (my works fire wall I guess) so the best I can do is the links. Thank you M'o'N' for posting it for me. If you or anyone else could help, I would appreciate it.

Thank you. I wish I had more to share. A lot of my paintings have been lost because it seems when I give them any to someone (who I consider a long term friend) they end up moving away we lose contact with each other. Its like a curse. I wish I could have at least gotten a picture of some of them. Thanks again NekoPunk. Your my new freind. (Oops) Thanks for the compliment Red. Its great to think that my impression painting would be considered by someone close to a photograph.
