I suppose you've reorganized your freakin spice rack too? sheesh

Bink wants to watch a Barney movie. OH GAWD i swore this wouldnt happen.

You need to turn the Bink over to the dark side, like my little one...turn him on to Tim Burton, he'll be singing the entire soundtrack to Nightmare Before Christmas before ya know it and never turn back to Barney again

you're goanna love this. Of all the movies in our repertoire, he loves Nightmare Before Christmas the best. James and the Giant Peach, PeeWee's Big Adventure and Willy Wonka are winners as well. Also, domestically challenged as I am, not only did I make the cleaning lady do the spice rack, but there is a chunk of plastic skull from Halloween decorations that i didn't take down from 4 years ago, back on Bink's dirt pile. It looks like some child died back there, so I'll pick it up before the soccer moms get here for Bink's Bday at the end of March. It just looks so wonderfully twisted. His brother lives out front by a tree, but he's whole. There's also Xmas vultures lurking and Christmas Crows, as Halloween and Christmas are so close, that it just saves time.

I'd only do domestic chores if I was ovulating, and I don't think I do that any more. So the house looks like shiit. I don't have enough money for the cleaning lady to live here, and it goes straight to hell within 5 minutes, cuz as soon as I see a kleen kitchen, I feel like cookin something elaborate.

The Barney thing must just have been a temporary brain fart, and I'm planning on ditching the tape as soon as he's not looking tonight.

Ok Aud, I'll let you off this time...but no more mentioning things like re-boxing/labeling video collections. Sheesh.

Why the fark do you need to put your Halloween decorations away anyhow? I'm just taking down our Christmas Tree today ......I just hung the kids Valentines on it ha!

And to think I *use to* have a clean house everyday and fresh flowers on the table. But those were the Stepford Wife days

Priorities!

HA! I got you beat, I actually limped my Christmas Tree one year all the way to Easter!!!!!

I was shamed last year into getting rid of it, by the Bink, who kept sayin, "Gee, mom, when are you goanna put the tree away?"

I also got motivated, cause a couple of years ago, I found out that the trash guys won't take it after a couple of weeks, and it was brown by the road for another 6 mo. We took it into the side lot and set it aflame, and damn! those things burn fast! Like just seconds and the thing was an inferno, no wonder they have so many fires at Christmas...that pine tar is like gas inside the tree!

I HAVE A REAL PUMPKIN FROM HALLOWEEN OUTSIDE MY DOOR that hasn't been moved, maybe when i pick it up finally, all the guts will drop out the bottom, but, hey, the one I had last year didn't rot to pieces til March!!! Luckily it was out by the gate in the grass, where it had fallen off a post, and it's really innneresting, that decomposition process, goosh, then black, then POOF! GONE!

I think the secret is paintin the face on, and not cutting into it....it is actually amazing how many 90 degree days this thing has survived. And it's goanna be about 3 gallons of schmutz when it melts. eeeuuuwwwwwwww

my mother demonstrated this to me and my two younger sisters during high school... I make sure we keep our live trees well-hydrated now
