Mon is right, chuckie.

I meant it is easier for the conservative religious right of America to say, "Well, God says it's wrong"

rather than have them admit what they don't want is to pay for insurance coverage & other benefits that gays will be entitled to receive if their marriages are accepted by the US government.

It's a blanket statement, and I hate blanket statements.

I'm not sure if the insurance is the case here, every company I have worked for has had partner benefits, it is more about the churches saying it is wrong...and bushy bush being the 'christian' that he is, well....he wants there vote....so he is 'bothered' by the fact that nobody cares what he thinks anymore and it's us against Washington. Anyone else wanna yell MUTINY with me?!?!?!?!?!

Exclamation

Is it wrong of me to wish every Conservative winds up w/a gay child?

Just got a glimpse of W on the news expounding upon the sanctity of marriage. Bah. I wonder how he'd feel if Barbara or Jenna wanted to marry a female lover?

I wonder why Cheney's daughter (who is gay and used to be quite proactive) is being strangely silent?

I'm curious ... if this is truly the dawn of the gay civil liberties' movement -- and women burned their bras to symbolize freedom for women during the women's civil liberties' movement -- what will gay people burn to symbolize their freedom?

Ask JessieJugs....

Apparently Ms Cheney is being targeted by her old activist pals and they are putting her on a milk carton and a website called something like
Where's Mary?

Lesbians will burn their flannel, gays will burn their angora.

That was stereotypical & wrong.

I'm glad her old activist pals are giving her shit. But at the same time, I think I'd ask Daddy to cough up a lot more than that per year for my silence.

labelling always causes problems. things get labelled wrongly, out of place or out of time. some labels just won't stick! some are too big for the package, most of them not necessary at all.
