...about trust.
Do you trust people for what they say they are? Or are you the scheming kind that wants more behind the scenes stuff? I am conducting a survey... it would be very helpful if you chaps can help (btw.. the survey story is all bull  )

I have two levels of trust.
The first is Inner Sanctum trust, where I let the person right in. It's all very risky and whatnot ... if a person I trust at this level lets me down I'm devastated. So I don't give that trust very easily. The second is not so risky, this is where most casual friends / acquaintances / co-workers etc. are. If someone in this area lets me down, I'm not too fussed. I'm probably a little po'd but it's not a trust issue. So, everyone starts out outside of the Inner Sanctum, and I trust them on a conditional basis. I have a pretty big BS detector, and if I feel someone is trying to BS me they get farther away from the Sanctum ... if I think they are sincere, they get closer. How about you LB? |
