She picks the hottie (Gil) over the average Joe (Brian, who planned out their entire day date in his city --- going on a sailboat and fishing for lobster, naming them and then dumping them back into the harbour, taking her to Red Sox stadium (forgive me for not remembering the name of it) where they met baseball players ... their names showed up on the big scoreboard while they were down on the field, having a romantic romantic romantic dinner at this gabled round restaurant -- only them, nobody else inside ... roses everywhere, streamers fluttering in the french doors with the breeze, candles everywhere, very romantic) ...

Brian intro's her to all his friends, is proud to have her on his arm, opens up his heart on his sleeve and tells her how he feels about her ... completely romantic, completely solid guy.

Gil takes her out on an airboat through the swamps of Florida, takes her to a museum where they eat dinner -- she's bitching that he's not opening up -- but the dude just broke up with a long term relationship two months before he entered Average Joe. Doesn't intro her to anyone, doesn't seem like he put as much thought into the date as Brian did... Gil doesn't change to meet her halfway, Brian bends over backwards to more than meet her halfway.

She picks Gil. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

She leaves Brian brokenhearted, completely devastated.

She goes off with Gil on a holiday to get to know him better. They laugh, they frolic, they get along.

Until she tells him who her exboyfriend was -- Fabio.

Gil freaks out and leaves her there, dumping her.

It ends with her saying "now I know how Brian must have felt."

Bah.

she got what she f*cking deserved. she went with Gil 'cause he's guarded and mysterious, and she discovered the big mystery is he's an asshole.

so - two episodes, two women go for the hunks, two women end up with nada and MANY average Joes come home to hundreds of women flinging themselves at them.

when will people learn?
