Bored
What do you do when you are bored out of your wits?
Do you just sit around telling others that you are bored or do you try and find a way out of the predicament? What your favourite way to beat boredom? Personally, I start blogging with crazy vigour and posting on zefrank ![]()

I amuse myself all the time. I'm hardly ever bored. Unless I get bored of worrying.

Bored? Ha! I laugh at you! I wish I could be bored! Then maybe I could finally make a dent in the ever-growing list of books I want to read. Maybe I would finish cleaning my room, or finish one my in-progress novels. Maybe I would finally read the Bible all the way through, or make an international dinner for my family that doesn't suck like the one I tried last time. (Note to all: if you ever make African Bobotie, skip the raisins. And peanut bread does not taste as good as it sounds. And Sachertorte doesn't really need the apricot preserves.)
And maybe I would be able to devote more time to silly web boards.

Bored? I just opened my own business and am now responsible for the web pages of my home town and all of the businesses and festivals. I always have a task ahead of me. I steal time away for me all the time.
If I got bored I would just ask Coffee what he was making? Coffee? Costume? Confections? I'll leave his navel content to him.

I do not get bored in my personal life at all. I use to when I was a teen, but I lived way out in the sticks, and when you are a teen, all you want to do is socialize. I would give anything to be out in a remote area today, and not deal with neighbors and their noise.
There are mandatory meetings at work that drive me to the point of insanity. They are so boring. Fortunately, most of them are via satelite. A bunch of windbags from D.C. talking about nothing. So, I will not go to the main conference room (where my co-workers gather) I will use the other conference room and "watch" it there. I will bring in my real work with me, and do it. It is maddening the amount of time that D.C. wants us to spend in training and "meetings" while I am drowning trying to keep up with the daily stuff. Oh well, enough of my bitching. The more work that comes in, guarantees me job security I guess....But cut out the damn mandatory meetings, and trainings....If they were valuable, and I learned a farking thing, that would be one thing, but geeesh.
