i just found it during a google for Sylph...

Copy it to your harddrive somewhere...downsize it to 75X75 pixels (or I can do it for you) and you activate it by posting it via the
user control panel
edit options...bottom of page is Avatar...clik on change avatar..nav to the image.

Hmmmm. I resized the image to less than 75x75 (I think) and when I went to change my avatar, I got a box saying the image was too big.

It can be 75 x 75, but when you resize the pic, the pixel density will affect how "heavy" the image is -
So if it's 75 x 75, at 150 pixels per inch, it's probably going to be more than 20 KB. You'll probably want to lower the pixel density to 92 pixels per inch or something. You may have to experiment...
