Ohmigod. We missed Annie's birthday.
It was yesterday!!!
So happy, happy birthday sweet girl - may your stripes never fade, and may you never run out of mice under the fridge... A cake for you:  (made of the finest salmon with tender chunks of fresh mouse, catnip berries and catnip sauce...) and some toys...  (filled with valerian, of course...)  (try not to play with these too much at night... you know Ze needs to sleep...)

My cats felt that Annie should get a special Birthday dinner...
Mira is not to clever...I caught her trying to catch Annie some fish  ...but I put the nix on that idea!!  Mao is much smarter...he had the right idea and caught and prepared: ROAST PIGEON  (I helped him cook it...Mao thought raw would be better )Mira and Mao say Annie shouldn't have to eat the vegatables. I just thought the dish would look better. Here is Mao entertaining annie during her pigeon dinner by playing the Happy Birthday Song on my double-stringed wash tub bass (made by yours truly of course).  Accompanied by these Stray Cats.  And a big kiss for Annie of course |

pssst...ok...he left the room. Mao is not that good at WT bass actually...he mainly just drums on the tub. It was sorta a "the thought the counts" kind of thing.
But he has traveled...extensively. He used to go camping with me, and kept me company while flying RC toy gliders at various places along the CA coast. A verrrrry cooool cat IMHO. |
