silly?

It was fun when I got a pair of wings one Hallowe'en. I was so excited I put them on upside down!

But the real fun came when Mr. Husband tried them on. And this was before the MSN Butterfly!

You would be welcome to borrow them!

I don't for the life of me know why we BOTH wore them upside down and never noticed. Probably laughing too hard to pay any attention.

heh -- thanks -- it was a lot of fun -- one of those things where digging up the picture makes you remember how much fun you have together in good times.

I read your story about those wings. As though you came to my door and asked if I was allowed to come out and play, it called to the child in me. We all need to go buy ourselves wings.

When I was a child I used to put my poncho around my waist and pretend to be a gyspy. Or I'd pull the long necklace out from my neckline, hold it to the sky and say..."OH MIGHTY ISIS! Isis...isis...isis)" I have a great imagination.

The child in all of us should be allowed to come out and play.

You are so absolutely right Aphro..and I try to spend my weekends doing that..which is why I never really finish anything around the house. lol Your husband is indeed a good sport, Spart. Mine has warned me to within an inch of my life about photos of him

This is how I spend my weekends..and NO, you will never see the photo of me dressed like this ( I do have a "Madonna as a nun" photo I would share).

We are pretty goofy

I am unaware of how to just embed the photo, so I have to do it this way..if someone can enlighten me as to the other method, I would be most grateful

I was so much like that as a child. Thanks so much for sharing that with me -- I can just see you, Aphro; I did so many similar things. What a sweet image!

I had a childhood friend. Did anyone ever read "A Wonder Book and Tanglewood Tales" b yNathaniel Hawthorne? It is a book of mythology told in language children will understand and enjoy.

Anyway, Quicksilver was my childhood friend and he and I used to ride Pegasus over the trees behind our house and off to new adventures. :-)

If you have the image hosted on a website, all you have to do is copy the URL of the photo (right click on it and select "Properties"; the URL will be listed in the popup box that appears). Then, copy the URL and select IMG from the vB code options when you are composing your post. Paste the URL into the box that pops up, select "OK" and whoops! there it is! (Make sure you don't have "http://" twice as the IMG popup auto-completes it for you.)

To do this in HTML instead of vB code, paste the photo URL into the message and add your tags, starting with the "<", then IMG SRC=", then paste in your URL and "closing" it with quotes and the ">". It will look something like (less-than symbol bracket thing)IMG SRC="http://www.yourURLgoeshere.com/photo"(greater-than symbol bracket thing)

Now, let's see that Madonna as a nun pic!

p.s. My husband never gets the option -- I post the photos and if he doesn't like it that's tough tata. LOL But he's a good sport anyway, and I would never post anything really nasty.
