Van Helsing!!!
I'll try not to gloat too much, but I saw Van Helsing a couple of hours ago.
My review? Funny, sexy, only a little scary, & gross (in certain parts). Oh, & a couple of clever plot twists which I really enjoyed. Don't worry though, I won't spoil it. Well, except for Hugh Jackman running around in cutoffs, that is. ![]() Pax, LC

Bink saw the preview and didn't want to go.
My sis saw it and thought it a bit too intense for him. I like the fact that he knows what he can take and cant. He has the sniffles, and I think he's in a weakened state. |

Van Helsing was well worth the money! Avvy, I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet!
I did learn one of life's great lessons yet again last night, though. Never drink a large amount of iced tea before going to see a two and a half hour movie. Yes, I did make it in time... |

My friend (that I had seen VH with) & I got into a sequel discussion after the movie.
I couldn't think of another monster (other that the Mummy) that Our Studliest Indiana Jones/James Bond could do battle with. She figured that a prequel would work. Either way, so long as Mr. Jackman is running around half naked, I wouldn't care who he was fighting with, so long as the movie didn't suck. Which brings to mind an interesting thought. Van Helsing vs. Wolverine. No contest, really, but what a helluva visual. ![]()

Not sure whether it will be a sequel or prequel, but I do know that he has been committed to do a second one. If that doesn't pan out, he can stop by my house and read the phone book to me..without his shirt, ofcourse
