So I'm sitting at my desk waiting for my laptop to boot up and I look out the window about 75 ft away but big enough to see some trees and stuff. The trees are swaying gently in the breeze. I start thinking about the implications of the butterfly effect and how these trees might be swaying because some clump of trees a few hundred miles away in the central valley slowed down a gust which made a swell stall in just the right way to make them go back and forth which lead to musing on causality and how the clump of trees might itself have been in the way of the wind because of some building in Reno or some hill in Kansas and how all the trees in the world are interrelated somehow by their being blown about by breezes in turn and how if we could only comprehend the higher dimensions, we see the way these events were linked through time and we could see what calamity might be heading for us right now.

And then I spilled 12 drops of coffee on my clean yellow shirt.

I spill coffee in my car all the time. If I ever get desperate I could just add a little water to my car, rehydrate the dried up coffee, and suck it up off the little rug things. I hope there is never a shortage of coffee.
