Speaking of hatchlings. This am I found a baby chick had tumbled out of the nesting boxes. There were like 3 chickens on nests! I had to lift up all those really perturbed chickens to see if there were any shells. I finally found its mother, after trying to give it to the wrong one, getting it and me pecked in the process. *phew!*
