JIMMY FALLON LEAVES SNL, sorry Left Coast

He just said tonight was his last night.

WTF?

Now it's going to suck. He was the only reason I kept watching after Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan & Chris Kattan left.

Oh, I don't know-- Maya Rudolph doing her Donatella is about enough to make me scream every time. That girl is so FUNNY!

"GedOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUT!"

But the show really has lost some talent over the last year or so. I especially miss Kattan and Morgan. Will Ferrell was good too, but I adored Tracy and Chris.

And at least Darrell Hammond is still left. Horatio Sanz is good, but the chemistry between him and Fallon is one of the reasons he works so well. Amy Poehler can only do the annoying redneck chick schtick so often before it gets old. Rachel Dratch is fearless but she's not enough to carry the show. The other guys are pretty much unprovens, though the guy who does the falsetto singing is pretty funny.

Ah, well. It will get back to good.

The guy who does the falsetto singing....refresh my memory? Someone? Anyone?

I like when Maya Rudolph & Rachel Dratch do the "Wake Up Wakefield" skit.

I miss Ana Gasteyer.

I also like Sully & Denise--the two teenagers from Boston. Now they can't do that anymore, cause Jimmy's leaving.

Jesus Christ Don Pardo looks old.

Truly, it always does, though I miss the days it was after The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. A little.

I said, "Hmm, prolly thinks he's gonna make a movie."

Reply: "Maybe he will. Maybe he'll become another Adam Sandler."

"We don't have room for another Adam Sandler. We barely have room for Adam Sandler as it is."

Will Forte -- that's his name -- took me awhile. He does the Tim Calhoun character and The Falconer. He can be really funny sometimes.

That's a shame because he was pretty funny in his own way. That Drunk Grrl routine used to just tear me up laughing. I knew a Drunk Grrl in college who even LOOKED like him, for Chrissakes. Sorry, Gail, wherever you are, but you brought meaning to the whole farkin' skit for me. LOL

Oh, the first time I saw the Drunk Grrl skit, I had to stop & ask myself if I'd ever met the dude in real life, he was that dead-on.

Like one of those moments where you freeze & tingles run up your spine? Yeah.

Now I don't drink as much.

Ha ha ha! I was a few years sober when SNL came out with Drunk Grrl, and I remember my husband being horrified in that polite WASP way of his, like, "Oh, my God, is it okay to laugh now?" So I started doing the skit along with the guy and even getting the lines in before he did, and we both about peed ourselves laughing.
