That Lala makes a mean cake
It's 2:30am on another sleepless night and I'm having a slice of Lala's homemade rasberry chocolate cake with a tall glass of milk. Now that's amore!
And now back to our regularly scheduled show...

It's 5:30 am here and I'm having my second sleepless night in a week.
But at least I have these: When you eat your Smarties do you eat the red ones last? Do you suck them very slowly or crunch them very fast? It's that candy and milk chocolate, but tell me when I ask: When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last? Whee! Insomnia bites. |

I have never seen giant smarties!
I like to switch between crunching quickly, and sucking them slowly. |

Did you know you can't buy Smarties in the US?
Sad state of affairs. *crunch, crunch, crunch* |

I was in our pharmacy one day and they had Smarties for sale!
It was small bags and they gave me one as they weren't selling any. Guess nobody knew what they were. BTW, Smarties don't make you very smart. I broke open the bag and in an effort to keep them from spilling all over the lobby floor, I spilled them all over the lobby floor. I think I'm gonna refer to them as Dumbassies from now on... |

I've never heard of those. What do they consist of?

I crushed up Smarties (the boring US version) once & snorted them when I was in high school, & then turned on some psychadelic Beatles music. For some strange reason, I thought it might give me a buzz.
What a weirdo I was. For that matter, what a weirdo I still am. ![]()

Smarties are really like M&Ms, yes, but they do melt in your hand, creating a delightful candy palette. DO NOT, under any circumstances, buy the pastel "sundae" Smarties, even if it's Easter time and you think they might be good on top of cupcakes for kids. PAH! I didn't realize you can't get Smarties in the U.S.!!! All you poor ex-pats at Hallowe'en, none of the little baby Smartie boxes!
What you call Smarties there, we have as Rockets here. Rockets are good at Hallowe'en, too.

Aww! I'm glad you enjoyed it, sweets!
