Tornado Watch - ZEFRANK.COM

Well, we are haiving some nice weather. There is a tornado watch, there was a warning where my folks live, no funnel clouds. Just packed up my purse (included my tax return checks so If my house blows down I will have some cash), put on comfortable clothes. I don't have a flash light.

Get a flashlight! If anything it's good to have around the house -- even as a weapon in self defense if you get a hefty one.

Also, go to the store and get three or four bottles of water (2 liters) and some canned food (makes sure you have a can opener) that will hold you over in case you lose power.

I've been reading about you guys, sounds like Mother Nature is giving you guys a real run up there. Stay safe.

Thanks NYC. I am glued to the tv. I have water, will buy a flashlight this week. I just want to stay close to home in case I have to go to the basement. Wild ass weather....

I talked with my mom and dad, and dad said that a tornado touched down north of where he lives (he lives about 50 miles north of me), and another cell is headed towards their cabin.

The nearest shelter is my basement, and thank GOD I have DSL. List of stuff to take to the basement:

Water
blanket
sunflower seeds
mixed nuts

One touched down in Western Dodge County.

Tornado siren is going off in my county.

Said their are snapping turtles all over the place.

You guys should all just move to Arizona....nothing ever happens here.....

We're having the same weather as you Klynne

I do not do well in tornado conditions; my biggest worry is rounding up all the animals..and we do NOT have a basement. I HATE OHIO

everytime I throw one into the bathroom, 2 more run out. And when I take the dogs in there..the cats berserk. Someday we will all just end up in OZ I guess
