This is so sad
I knew this girl from karoake in Astoria -- she knew fellow drama students that lived there. Nice girl, remarkable voice. Such a sad situation.
I really hope they find her, but thought I'd post it here in case anyone has seen her. |

That's so sad. I hope they find her. It seems rare that these missing person stories end happily like Elizabeth Smart, but hopefully this one will too.

What a terrible thing. I'll keep her (and the family, etc.) in my thoughts.

To my fellow female zemonkeys remember this bit of advice . It comes from a detective that I know.
Always be aware of your surroundings. If someone has a weapon, and tries to drag you out of your home, or tries to get you to leave a public place, scream and fight. He said that you are better off being shot or stabbed in a public place rather than them carting you off where he has control. |

Yeah. It sucks. I didn't know the girl as a friend-friend ... but knew her from her singing at the pub. Full of life, bouncy and laughing all the time, liked to joke around .. ah, it's all so sad.
