Not very, but it's his first dip back into it after being out of it for several years. He does get to behead someone, I'm told. I'm seeing it tonight.

Here when Rocky Horror is on at the Theatre, the crowds go in dressed for the show. They throw toast at the screen when they make a toast on the movie. they throw rice for the wedding. The audience participates.
Is this the same everywhere?

Avant garde Shakespeare (or any classical stuff) is risky stuff, no? To attempt it is to walk a fine line and chance stumbling badly. The Goodbye Girl showed it at its funniest, mostly because the play it depicted took itself soooo seriously. I've seen a lot of unexpectedly great stuff (a strange play years ago based on a mix of the Iliad and the story of the famous conjoined twins Cheng and Eng comes to mind), and some horrors. The last bad one was at La Mama in NY, and it was so bad that I've blocked the name, story -- everything about it -- from my memory. To your boyfriend and his troupe, I bid them "break a leg!" ![]()
