Well that was scary

I went looking for the cat last night and couldn't find him anywhere in the apartment. We then noticed the screen for the window in the kitchen was knocked out. So we went outside to look for him and I finally found him in the bushes at the next apartment complex but he ran away when I called for him. We spent about an hour chasing him around with no luck catching the little punk. I decided to leave a box outside the window with some food on it and the window open to see if he would come back to the scene of the escape. He came meowing into the room at about 4am and jumped onto the bed. I quickly ran out and shut the window. What a little poo head.

Yep, you've got a genuine cat, all right. Rotten little critters. Glad the wee beastie is safe and home.

Uh-oh...

You know what they say... "How you gonna keep 'em down on the farm..."

Arthur digs holes in screens and Merlin leaves "presents" if I don't let them have outside time now... Oh well.

I'm too scared to leave the bugger outside (plus I don't know if the apartment complex allows that) because we're right by the road and he could get hit.

I'm glad he came back, smoothie! How scary.
I'm too afraid to let my cats go in and out as they please. They'd probably get run over in the first week. Lala, you know what it's like around my neighborhood.

I do... and I know you lost a little furry friend recently...

I thought I was lucky - the street I live on is sort of like a cul-de-sac since one end is bordered by ABC Studios... but then we have Griffith Park nearby and with it, all kinds of little wild creatures, including coyotes. They're very beautiful, but I'm pretty sure one or more of them was responsible for Schroeder's disappearance.

If I had my druthers, I'd keep them in - but besides the fact that my place would get really stinky, they wouldn't stand for it for one day... you have to keep them inside from kittenhood, otherwise they feel entitled.

My sister's cat sailed out of her 3rd flr window on the screen. He came back after awhile, no harm done! Screen was messed up. So was my sister.

Janet never goes outside unless she's in her pet carrier. I don't think she wants to go outside since the house is *her* world and she is Queen of it!
