Cleaning

Someone call me and keep me company while I clean my house... or I will sit on the net and never do it.

Unfortunately, you are talking to the Undisputed Queen Of Sitting On The Net Avoiding Housework, so I'm probably not much support. I mean, I am the goddamn Empress of Avoiding Domestic Chores. LOL

house cleaning... hmm, the name rings a bell... nope, no idea what it could be, sorry.

oh, yes, hang on, that's the whole hoovering up & stuff that i'm trying to train léo, kola & taz to do, oooh right. nah, i'm no use there mate, my flat is clean & tidy, everything has it's place & it stays there, quick hoover in the morning & dust once a week, never let it get in a mess or i can never face up to cleaning it all again.

I have a regular busy house. Two teen girls and myself. A dog and a cat.
Always some laundry waiting to be done. Always a floor to sweep. Always a carpet to vacuum. Always a dish in the sink five minutes after doing them. A towel, a mirror, a pair of shoes. I get up in the morning and do dishes and clear the kitchen counter. I run a load of laundry while the coffee brews. I fold towels while I sip my first cup. I can't get sick of cleaning. It is constant.

Key-rist. I woke up, looked around, put on the coffee, picked up some crap strewn around the living room and dinng room, cleaned the litter boxes, cleaned up all the dishes in the kitchen, ran the vacuum cleaner, folded another two loads of laundry and wailed, "Ohhhhh, my God! Isn't there a simpler solution that will take care of this once and for all? Like surgery?" LOL

Oh, well. At least it isn't the old days, when my motto was, "Bushmill's, Take Me Away!" LOL

a whip & some serious bribary sound needed here. next time a pair of tweezers or shoes not belonging to you are found lying around chuck em away (or at least say you've trashed them & you will carry on doing that to all stuff left lying around, but secretly stash it somewhere til they've got the message).

I truly am lucky, my girls aren't terribly messy. We all do laundry, vacuum, dishes, dusting, etc.. It is the number of residents that generates the cleaning. Laundry! Between sheets, once a week and at least four towels a day, we all wear a few outfits a day depending on what we are doing. The shoes in the rack at the back door often need straightening. A dog and cat, require that the floor be swept and the carpet vacuumed almost daily.

Nope the kids are safe on this score. No bribery or whips thanks.

And people wonder why I live alone!

Laundry once a week. Change linens once a week. Dishes once a week. Dust? What is this "dust"?
Wash dogs monthly. Clean litter box twice a week.
Mow lawns every other week. Edge monthly.
What takes most of my time is plants. I have something or other that needs watering on a daily basis. No biggy as it doesn't take that much time...

Husband is a pig. My MIL once got so sick of all his crap that she threw it out. For years I thought she "threw it in the bin" only found out recently she actually "threw it out" his second floor window.
