Vegas Update

Klynne called me this afternoon to tell me they were having a great time! She said so far, nobody's been jailed and the SWAT Team has not been called out, in spite of the news reports.
She also reported winning $250 on a $5 bet on the slots!
She's gonna try and call me tonight when they all get together again.
Guess we won't be digging into the Zemonkey Legal Defense Fund after all!

I am glad to hear that they are having fun and not prison fun.

I think there is still time to get into trouble though, so don't spend the bail money yet!

In the last week I have:

a) moved house and my new house has a flight of stairs down to the front door which means

b) I have moved 5 years worth of crap, a shitload of furniture including a piano and two cats, two dogs, a bunny and a guinea pig, two dog houses and a hutch down said flight of stairs

c) chopped wood on a daily basis to feed the canadian stove which is our only source of heating

d) battled an ant infestation, scorpions and huntsman spiders the size of plates (try finding a glass that will fit over that)

e) built half a mile of fence to contain the dogs with only limited success

f) lain awake sleepless at night listening to thunder that actually rattles the house

g) continued to run my business despite

h) my computer crashing and burning the day before the move with associated loss of ALL info

Klynne didn't call last night, but from what I've seen on CNN, this is what I gather from last night:

The Las Vegas Police Headquarters did burn to a cinder but it has yet to be determined if it was our monkeys or a Girl Scout Leaders Conference going on at the same time.
Beale is apparently responsible for the City of Las Vegas now being completely out of Johnny Walker Red. He has promised to make amends by representing any Las Vegas resident in any trial of any kind Pro Bono.
Willow and Spicy Jack like it in Vegas so much, they bought out Siegfried and Roy's contract and are billing themselves as Brunhilde and Gerta. Their show opens next Friday and all monkeys get in at half price.
All of Vegas finally realized what a talentless nitwit Wayne Newton is and have asked lala to take over as official voice of Las Vagas.
Deviate, Red, and Klynne made so much money on the slots
before they even left the airport that they've opened a branch of The Chicken Ranch and call it The Monkey's Cage. So far they have doubled their winnings.
I'm sure we'll hear more later, maybe even with some truth to it!

Snakey! Spiders the size of dinner plates? If I saw a spider the size of a dinner plate, I would pass a movement the size of the Chrysler Building, and cut a flight path the length of the great state of Ohio! LOL

scorpions, yuk, i was just about to pul leo in his push chair last night & saw something moving in it so i tried to brush it out with my bqre hand, eventually got hold of said moving thing picked it up to see what it was & to my disgust it was one of the litte farkers (which i then threw on the floor pretty damn quickly & let out a noise which startled even me), i hate scorpions. it didn't sting me though, i was lucky enough to have got hold of the little bugger by it's tail *shudder*. spiders i don't mind as much, which is ironic as i've been bitten by the bvstards god knows how many times, including several trips to the hospital. i don't think i'd be quite so calm & collected if it was the size of a PLATE though.
