Proper Theatre Protocol (aka mini-rant thread)

Examples of why I love people that don't behave properly in a theatre:

1. While watching a dance recital, stay in your seats until the performance is over. Do not stand straight up & walk out of your aisle.
2. Do not use a light on your video camera when the rest of the theatre is dark.

Reason for my rant? Well, my niece had her dance recital this past Sunday in one of the local theatres. She did a great job & I was very proud of her.

However, only one thing ruined the experience. There were some people sitting in the row in front of us, and they kept getting up & walking around (even in the middle of a performance). They even used a light on their video camera when the theatre was darkened to focus on the performer. (Talk about nerve!)

So the moral of my rant, amigos, is to frigging behave when watching a performance! It's irritating, unecessary and rude to others when someone acts inappropriately.

:: getting off of soapbox ::

Thankfully, though, was that my niece was not aware of the foolishness going on in our section. The most important thing is that she had fun.
