This post is in loving memory of my buddy Matt Martin, who passed away in the prime of his life last week. I wish that I could believe that he was in heaven now with his father who died of cancer when Matt was a teenager...but...alas, I am an atheist/recovered catholic and will just have to do my part to remember him as he was. A hard playing, fast living, loving friend, father and husband... and very very special person who I am honored to have been able to call "one of my best friends".

I'll miss you Matty Magoo.
( heh...we called him Mr. Magoo since he was such a crazy driver ...He insisted however that we stop calling him Matty [which we did to diffentiate between him and I in conversations] after we gradutated from HS.)
