Sugaring is much like waxing in that a substance is applied and ripped off, taking the hair with it.

The sugar is like a really tacky syrup that can be spread on the skin. Then with a flick of the applier's wrist, the sugar snaps off and the hair is stuck in it.

It takes 10 minutes or so and lasts about 4 to 6 weeks.

try one of those Venus razors if the whole ripping hair out by the roots wigs you out. works best if you use a good shave cream with it, not just soap and water. shave across the grain of hair growth first, then against the grain. and take your time.
