creative goes here
ok, so, you're a high school senior guy, about to go to prom, and you need a tux. what promotion would motivate you to rent early and upgrade to a higher quality tux and some accessories?
can't involve the two basic male interests: alcohol or sex ![]() |

How about a date for the prom?
They could "register" at the tux shop and single dateless ladies could peruse the available tux clad lads for potential dates. |

limitations: only a couple thousand to work with, can't go on any high school campuses or involve other media without benefiting them in some obvious way
some sort of sweepstakes? come in 3 wks early and upgrade to a nicer tux to win a prom prize? however the guidelines is a turn off to high school kids |

ok...then how bout a discount on the tux rental if they rent early.
A free CD with accessory upgrade...either games or music. And I'm still curious what your interest in this subject is Fodder. Are you involved in a tux promotion? Do you work for an Ad agency that has been hired by a tux shop? Come on...spill it. Sup? |

free cd is ok, but most kids don't want their tastes reduced to a top 40 mix cd this was a case study i did today; next wk i have to give a presentation on it so i'm trying to force myself to think about all the different factors, possible classmate ideas i'll be competing against, etc |

Coffee, anytime you see something random like this, we are helping fodder w/her homework. Try & keep up.
![]() How about registering early will put them in a drawing to win a 6 hour limo rental for the night of the prom?? Give away 5 limo rentals total so there is a better chance of winning.

How bout a free puppy or kitten.
Shelters are always looking for homes for critters. A tux shop could combine forces with a shelter....nevermind. uhh. Pizza coupons? Movie passes? Limosine carpooling (split a limo between 3-4 couples if the guys have upgraded their rentals)? Free corsages (sp?). |
