I used to want blonde hair, but it will NEVER work with my coloring...

I've put in highlights, various shades of red, fuschia (that was fun - my head lit up when I went in the sun!!!

) and I dyed my hair black to play the lead in "Madame Butterfly" (good thing too - I was hot enough in all the kimono layers - a wig woulda killed me - heat stroke).

What colors have you dyed your hair? Post piccies if you have 'em.

After I had the Bink, I dyed my hair dark brown, which has been grey since I was like 25, and I didnt recognize myself, so I bleached it out immediately. Musta been the hormones.

Blue

Green

Purple

All shades of red

Bright Caution Orange. I bleached my hair and wanted to dye it red, but I bought the wrong Manic Panic dye and it was the color of the construction cones (WARNING!). Then I went to visit my family and we went rafting and every time I was in the water they called me the caution shark.

Bleached blond

Black

Wowie! so courageous...

I hanker after dyeing my hair bright red with black streaks... I saw it on someone with my coloring and... oooo. Something very wonderful about it...
But I like my natural color

Back in the 80's I use to have my hair cellophaned. It was a tempory dye, and it would wash out. It would give one's hair a tint. I did blue and then purple.

When I lived in Cali, I had it dyed blonde underneath, and left the top dark.

Now to cover the grey, I have red streaks, along with a red rinse.

I love it when people do fun stuff with their hair. I get really excited about it.

My favorite is the all gray hair. I got excited a few years ago when I found my first gray hairs.
