Damn San Diego is expensive!
Looking for a place here is daunting, probably gonna have to lay down at least 3 big ones just to move in! GAH!

three words for you, darlin'
buy a boat. it is soooo easy to live on a boat in SD. and rent is about $250/month at Shelter Island (that's for the slip only. boat payments are dependent on what you buy, of course) you can put some money down on a sweet little powerboat that would be as comfortable as any apartment. DSL is available at Shelter Island. Mai Tais are within staggering distance. And you get a water view. |

ahhahahahaha! We were just talking about that last night!!! I hear if you live on a boat though....you can't get rid of the smell. I used to manage a yacht club on shelter island....some crusty folks down there!

I have old family friends who live on a boat there.
They kayak every morning. I've always thought it sounded heavenly.

Ok, well, we were supposed to go back to arizona today, but looks like we are going to stay at a friends beach condo until monday or tuesday..or wednesday....YAYAYYAYAY!
We found a couple places in Little Italy...well, it is between two places there..one part of town I havent ever lived but always wanted to. so YAY!!
