I'm marinading rib eye, which may or may not count as dipping. I plan to barbecue it first, though, so there are mitigating factors.

notice how if just one person mentions food, everyone has something to say. we have like a kazillion threads that go on in detail about what we eat or what are going to eat or what we would like to eat and how it all comes out. wow. it's a topic everyone can share. i *heart* food. it makes people happy.

get a bunch of mashed potatos and make like a donut/bowl sort of thing on a plate with it then fill it with vegetable/chicken soup
