- it's Saturday! which means I have one more weekend day...
- my wonderful mom, who always spoils me for my birthday - knowing from experience that there are *always* alternatives - the new India Sweets & Spices a five-minute drive away - zennie, for posting the pumpkin cheesecake recipe I'm going to make for my family on Thanksgiving that they will LOVE! ![]()

- winning things on Ebay for someone wonderful - sweet old warm soft cats that share the chair with you - sweet young wiggly soft cats that eat you out of house and home but only because they're growing like GANGBUSTERS! ![]() - new bedframe, new sheets, new mattresses on the way...

You can't see the sparkly thread all that well, but I am so glad they arrived today. One grey, one taupe, one black, French gloves all with silver or gold thread interwoven, and all for ten bucks. Smelling like the inside of somebody's old trunk, and I'm going to wear them all winter to drive to work and back. I'm grateful for the mood boost. Other gratefuls: sleep unconsciousness coma dreamlessness
