Chloe has now gotten in a ritual that if I'm not up by 12:30, she comes in and dips and rolls over and spoons, purring up a storm; and then if the movement doesn't wake me up, she starts licking my hands.
At least she knows to wait until noon. |

kitty kit kit...
 Merlin does a similar thing (to what Conan does), but lately he's been just sharing the chair with me and hanging his paws over the side... Arthur has the most annoying habit of wanting attention in the morning when I'm getting ready... and he has this kind of low, whiney miaow he does... blargh. No, cat, I do not want to pet you or have you rub up against me when I've just gotten out of the shower...

Gussie is the oddest cat ever. He likes to purr and drool and stick his snoot in Mr. Husband's face to wake him, but if I say to him, "Gus! GO LAY DOWN!" he goes to the foot of the bed and curls up like a dog and sleeps all night.
The cat. Not the husband.

I tried to post a photo showing my cat, but she is too big to fit within the frame of the picture. In fact, as you will see from this image, using the scale on its left edge, that my cat is, indeed, larger than a Buick.
