Because I couldn't find the old thread...
Hey Aud,
Sorry to cut you off so short the other day when we were talking on YIM, it is just that I had finally gotten through to Trista with this damn dialpad program and it had been at least 12 hours since I had talked to her. Not to mention, that infernal ringing that YIM makes every time you get a message... Anyway, to answer all of your questions: No I am not with any of the guys that I was in Iraq with, that I know of, there may be a few here but I doubt it. Same deal as before, three months, they are saying, but I find it hard to believe that they are going to send a new squad in here around Christmas time, so we may have to wait it out... I hope that doesn't happen though. Yeah, I wasn't real happy when I got home, but I went to my moms for a month in Vegas and then I finally broke the habit with Ge and then I got a roommate and a motorcycle... so things started looking up. And then... I met a girl who treats me right... And then... I got orders to the Indian Ocean for three months... So right now, I think I am falling in love with Trista, well, I think I was before I left, but I know for a fact that I am now even more so. She really is a great girl and she just knows exactly how I need to be treated and she makes me feel really good about myself... I could go on forever, but I am just really glad that I met her. I couldn't find the old thread to bump so I just started a new one. I also started posting the pictures from this deployment on yahoo click here for pics and lastly.... yes I have a new address it is: SSgt Patrick E. Yay! There you are! Funny how havin the right person around you can help you decide you're ok sometimes. Moreso, some people know that that's a partner's job.
So, Like PFP said, need carepackages yet? Glad you started this new one, it could be a whole new deal, hopefully just a stay on an island. ha. |
