It was quite sad in the end, on reflection.

I think there was only one real joke in the whole thing. It was definitely more crazy insane than crazy funny.

For some reviewers, if it has Jim Carey in it, it must be a comedy I suppose.

I watched this on the plane on the way home on Monday. I think it's a ferlippin' masterpiece. But then again I am turning into a girl, what with liking chick flicks and buying two pairs of shoes at the same time...

My internal world essentially consists of a cross between John Cusack in High Fidelity and Jim Carrey in ESSM.

Yeah, totally not a comedy. It was funny how the previews showed all the quirky exciting scenes, so that's what you may have thought you were gonna get. I really liked it though. It was definately a love story and, I thought, a good study in the different stages of a relationship. I love seeing Jim Carrey in more serious roles.

Dickie - What an interesting combination. How endearing. Why aren't you taken yet?!

It's just too bad that he's been typecast as Ace Ventura in so many people's minds as he is a brilliant actor.
Charlie Kaufman is also the only really original screenwriter working right now...

Was that one young doctor with the glasses, the guy that played the younger daughters boyfriend on Rosanne?

I still didn't like it, but maybe I was in the mood for a comedy and that is why I was let down....

Because Cameron Diaz and Helena Bonham Carter and Kristin Scott Thomas won't return my calls... What's a guy to do?
