Furious Jackson Calls for Ban on Eminem's Video

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS — Michael Jackson has called for superstar rapper Eminem's latest video to be banned as it portrays him frolicking on a bed with young boys.
Eminem is no stranger to pop video controversy, in the past he has cast aspersions about the sexual proclivities of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, but he has taken his pop parodies to a new level with the video for new single 'Just Lose It'.

Dressed as the 'Bad' singer, Marshal Bruce Mathers the third (Eminem), does an extended caricature of Jackson, which begins with a scene where his hair catches fire, as Jackson's once did while shooting a commercial. When he rushes to a public toilet to put out the flames, his nose falls off.

But the scene that has outraged Jackson features Eminem, still dressed as Jacko, sitting on a bed while little boys jump up and down around him. In 'Just Lose It' Eminem raps the lines: 'Come here little kiddie, on my lap, guess who's back with a brand new rap. And I don't mean rap as in a case of child molestation.'

Jackson is currently facing child molestation charges in California.

The song and video cross the line, says Jackson's representative Ramone Bain told the New York Daily News. "Michael feels the video is disrespectful and offensive," Bain said. "It's one thing to spoof someone, it's another to be completely insensitive and disrespectful."

Jackson has called on networks to ban the video, which has begun airing on music video channels in the United States. So far, only BET (Black Entertainment Television) has agreed. They said the decision was taken because of the content of the video and out of respect for their long relationship with the 'Thriller' singer.

In other Eminem news, the man who said he'd never leave his hometown of Detroit has bought a $5.4 million mansion in Hollywood. Eminem, whose film '8 Mile' told the loosely autobiographical story of how he escaped poverty, is now be a neighbor of stars like Halle Berry, Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

Reports suggest the 'Clean Out Your Closet' rapper wants to concentrate on his movie career following the success of '8 Mile', and plans to star in a self-conceived James Bond spy thriller 'with attitude'.

'Just Lose It', available on I-music and other legal download sights from today, is the first single from Eminem's hotly anticipated new album 'Encore,' which Is released in the USA on November 16th 2004.

Already been done. It was called XXX and starred a guy who could kick Eminem all the way back to poverty.
I'd love to see the Jacko parody, though!
