MELMAC. 50's plastic cups, plates, saucers, dinner ware.

An ex-girlfriend introduced me to this stuff, she had tons of it (well...pounds anyhow) I only have a couple bowls (pink unfortunately, not my favorite color). It is wonderful sturdy stuff, great shapes, great colors. I'm regretting now that I sent the ungrateful ***** 2 of my only 4 pieces that I had.

If anyone comes across any Melmac in thrift stores for less than a buck or so a piece, let me know, I will buy if off of you and pay shipping.

Ya...I made that mistake once...it didn't kill it the one time I did...but it got beastly hot. nearly burned myself reaching in to take it out...and it was only in for like 45 seconds warming something up.
