I was agoin' to have a beer... and chat.... and then a gooooood long sleep-in.... and then I came home to two messages on my machine asking me to sing on Saturday and Sunday mornings...

I guess I should be grateful for the windfall

but I wanna be a party monkey!!!

Well... maybe I can have the beer and chat anyway... you think?

I'm so tired, I feel tipsy. The events of the day warrent a drink though. And I do have some very good vodka that I got for my birthday that I've barely touched....

Lala, what kind of beer are you enjoying tonight?

I mixed some vodka with tuaca and some orange/tangerine carbinated drink. It's pretty good.

I am deviating from my usual selections of dark beer and having a combination of Samuel Smith's India Ale mixed with Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout. I'm not sure it exactly qualifies as a black & tan because the India Ale is paler than the beers I usually drink... mmmmm... but it's tasty.

(sorry about the delay - I was firming up the details for my singin'... so funny how that happens, out of the blue...)

I don't think there is anything wrong with tuaca. I think it's alright.
