Anyone remember Call to Glory? I LOVED that show...
1984 - 1985 only 24 eps. made. Cast included Craig T. Nelson, Cindy Pickett, Elisabeth Shue, Keenan Wynn and C. Thomas Howell, set on an airforce base during the turbulent 60's, life as seen through the eyes of an Officer's family, lots of conspiracy, real life issues, excellent flight shots, interspursed w/real news clips and songs of the early sixties. Of course, ABC farked it up by moving away from the historical aspects of the show (that gained it's huge ratings in the first place) to a more soap opera type focus and ratings dropped. ![]()

MASH
Cheers Freaks and Geeks I thought Freaks and Geeks was great. It did not even make it a full season. It was a show set in the "80"s and it brought back memories. |
