Arrivederci, Randy!

I have very sad news. I mean it's good news for Randy, but it's sad news for me and all of you monkeys who I know have come to think of him as one of the gang.

Did I ever tell you all how pleased I was when you just accepted him without reservation, without ever making him feel uncomfortable or that he needed to impress you to win his approval? He appreciated that, too, and he wanted me to tell you all goodbye, and that he will miss you very much.

But on to the good news: Randy is moving to Florence, to take a new job as a sculpture model at l'Accademia Delle Belle Arti.

The moment he dropped his pants for the people there, they shouted "Che bello!" and agreed that there was a quality about him that was strangely familiar, and they hired him on the spot.

So, it's "ciao, bello Randy." Let's all wish him well on his new adventures.
